Delta Thrives

[ Delta Thrives ]

Delta Thrives is a webcomic story written and illustrated by Patrick Farley. It was originally published in 2002 on Farley's now defunct website, www.e-sheep.com. His ninth comic is a mix of photorealistic drawings obtained with photo-collage and various 3D applications such as Bryce.

Delta, the main character of the story is a woman who lives in the future in a city floating over an ocean. The story acts as a diary where Delta talks about her encounter with an intelligent cat, her experience with a powerful sex toy and the death of a blue whale, killed by killer whales.

This last experience is the jumping point for a trip in a different realm where shee meets the blue whale again in a type of afterlife.

Delta Thrives is a unique experience in expanded canvas type of webcomics where Farley makes use of this special type of composition and uses specific points of animation.
