Return of the Green Skull

Return of the Green Skull is a webcomic series written and illustrated by Joe Zabel. The particularity of this webcomic is to be created entirely with computer-generated images, making a true digital comic.

Return of the Green Skull is a sequel to the print comic The Green Skull, part of the Trespassers series Zabel published in the 1990s. It is an epic adventure in which amateur sleuths Raymond Fish and Delphinia Morgan return to the abandoned, Xanadu-like Wintercraven estate, where strangers roam the halls at night, and world-shattering mysteries lie hidden.... The series appeard as a serialized story on Modern Tales' website.

The series was rendered in a style combining photo-collage with 3D Poser artwork. In his follow-up series for Modern Tales, The Fear Mongers, Zabel continued to explore his 3D style in the context of 1960's SF/Horror TV shows.
