Timothy Green II is a young Californian illustrator started his career as a comic book artist on two stories of the alien world of Alfraz written by Randy and Jean-Marc
Lofficier. The stories were published in the US by Frank
Frazetta's Fantasy Illustrated Magazine in their issue #7, and in France by Semic.
Green has also illustrated three
adventures of Brigade Temporelle, written
by the Lofficiers and Chris Malgrain, published
by Semic, and has also illustrated a complete graphic novel called La Guerre du Graal.
For DC Comics, in 2004, Green was the artist on Fraction, a six-issue series telling the story of four men in Philadelphia who steal the components of a powerful battle suit. The series was written by David Tischman. This series will be followed by a short stint on Swamp Thing for Vertigo. The two issues were written by Joshua Dysart.
In 2005, after his DC Comics work, Green went back to Dark Horse Comics. In the past he had drawn some short stories for Star Wars. Green worked on the 4-issue limited series adaptation of the motion picture Aeon Flux. The series was written by Mike Kennedy. It was the first time that Green was also the cover artist on his US work.
Back at DC Comics in 2006, Green illustrated another six-issue limited series, Rush City, this time written by Chuck Dixon. The series actually started with a webcomic issue #0 by the same team. The series follows the adventures of Diego Zhao, an Asian American private investigator who also uses the name Rush.
More recently, Green signed his first work for Marvel Comics with Annihilation Conquest: Star Lord, a four-issue mini-series written by Keith Giffen. He is currently working on
several graphic novel projects, including Doldrums and Red-Nose Rabbit.
Brigade Temporelle is featured in Adventures Into Digital Comics.
