Leonard M. Cachola

Leonard M. Cachola was born on
April 24, 1972. During his senior year at Clements
High School, Texas, Cachola served as art editor for the school's literary
magazine. At the University of Houston, Cachola published a
daily comic strip, Strange News, for
three-and-a-half years in the The Daily Cougar.
He ten created a second daily comic strip, Extra Pepperoni, and wrote a weekly column for The Cougar.
Cachola graduated from the University of
Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in English and minor
in Studio Art in 1996, then attended Royer Studios' Animation Institute of Los Angeles in 1998 and 1999.
In 1999, Cachola wrote the
Cartooning and Animation chapter of
Glencoe/McGraw-Hill's 3rd Edition of Creating and
Understanding Drawing. He also did a short stint as
a storyboard cleanup artist in 1999 at Saban Entertainment.
On February 14, 2000, he started his
online comic strip Innies and Outties. He
recently published four Innies and Outties compilations, It's All
Mine and You Can't Have It!, Phooey! Evil
Gets All the Fun!, Tell Me You're Not Like This Every Morning and In Case of Zombie, Break Glass. Cachola also served as the house photographer for the 2004 and 2005 Bangkok International Film Festivals.
