Brien Longobardi
Director of Photography
Director of Photography Brien Longobardi graduated from Los Angeles City College where he met Futureal Studio's founder Sébastien Dumesnil in 2000. Longobardi served as a Director of Photography on Adventures Into Digital Comics (2006) during the first phase of production, shooting the majority of footage for the documentary film.
In 2002, Longobardi served as en editor on Discovery Kids' Operation Junkyard, a 30-minute film in which two teams battle to be the ultimate junksters in a kids version of TV show Junkyard Wars. In 2005, Longobardi joined the editing team of Britney & Kevin: Chaotic, the reality series focusing on the life of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. The series lasted only five episodes. Right after, Longobardi worked as an editor on N da CutZ. This show, produced by Entertainment News Magazine, goes behind the scenes in all major events.
In 2006, Longobardi worked both as a Director of Photography and Editor on Elite B. Productions' In the Mix's first season. Featuring Amy Weber, In the Cutz focuses on shows rarely featured on television. Following a 30-minute format, the series has starred, among others, Daryl Hannah, Judas Priest, Snoop Dogg, The Game, Carlos Santana, and more.
Now back in New Jersey, Longobardi has founded his new company, Mirage Productions, where he "brings his expertise, philosophy and passion to creating unique video experience."
